Who we are
This website is run by Kings Property Maintenance. We are the controller of the personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us about privacy athello@kingspropertymaintenance.co.uk or on 07929 409871.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, the type of client you are, your company name if you give it, the property postcode, the service you are interested in, your message and any photos you attach.
Like most websites, our hosting provider also records basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and working.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, visit the property if needed and prepare a quote. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To keep records of the work we quote for and carry out. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the business, and our legal obligations for tax and accounting records if you become a customer.
- To protect the website from spam and misuse. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and deliver your enquiry:
- Cloudflare hosts the website.
- Resend delivers enquiry emails to us and the confirmation email to you.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (if enabled) checks that enquiries come from a person rather than a bot.
- Google Workspace hosts our email inbox.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to any work, we delete it once it is no longer needed and normally within two years. If you become a customer, we keep job and invoice records for as long as the law requires, which for accounting records is usually six years.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell people and bots apart when you use the enquiry form.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
